What does this mean?
Children and adolescents who are bullied can experience negative psychological, physical, and academic effects. Mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-harming behavior, alcohol and drug use, aggression, and violence can be common in children who are bullied. Children and adolescents who are bullied might be injured from a physical attack but also might experience physiological problems. There is also evidence that bullying has a negative effect on academic performance.
